Milani Baked Eyeshadow Collection Part 2

Milani Baked Eyeshadow Collection Part 2

The second part of my Milani Baked Eyeshadow collection has a couple of fun colors in it. These baked shadows can be used wet or dry depending on whether you want a more sheer wash or color or a bolder look. To get bold color, wet brush slightly and use eyeshadow. The colors with more sparkle to them are prone to more fall-out. Using a damp eyeliner brush will create a bold statement look to line your eyes with. These shadows come with a dual ended applicator, with one side being a sponge tip and the other being a brush. I just toss these out as I find they aren't of much use. All swatches are applied dry over UD Primer Potion.

Medley and Teal The Truth

Fusion, Pink Twice, Must Have Fuchsia

Medley

Medley is a beautiful black shade marbled with silver. This has a frosty metallic finish and is prone to fall-out, so care is needed.

Medley

The silver and black together create a beautiful, almost gunmetal color. This color works great for a smokey eye, as well as eyeliner.

Teal The Truth

Can we just have a moment of silence please, and just appreciate how gorgeous this teal is? This is a mid-tone true teal that doesn't lean too blue or too green, with a satin finish.

Teal The Truth

This teal is so fun! It applies smoothly, without much fallout. This gives excellent coverage as both an eyeliner or shadow. I like using this under my bottom lash line for a pop of color when I'm wearing neutrals.

Fusion

Fusion is a mixture of mauve-purple and gold, that together make a bronze duo-chrome with mauve showing through. This leans more neutral than anything else.

Fusion

This color is somewhat translucent, and great for a sheer wash of color as well as a transition color. It doesn't lean purple at all, and is a safe color for those that don't want bold colors.

Pink Twice

This pink, while I think is a lovely color in the pan, just doesn't do much. It's quite sad that not much color is visible even when heavily swatched.

Pink Twice

As much as I wanted to like this, I just can't. This specific color is one I can't recommend. I would pass on it.

Must Have Fuchsia

This pink is much better than Pink Twice in color as well as application. This is a mid-tone cool pink with a satin metallic finish.

Must Have Fuchsia

I love this color. This pink can give the dreaded "pink-eye" look, so take care in how you choose to wear it. Worn correctly, this is lovely.

Well, that is my round-up. While a few are fails, most are lovely. The hardest thing about these is the fall-out that can occur with certain colors, so just be aware of that. Overall, these are fun colors that can create a variety of looks. These retail for $7.99 for 0.05 oz. Would I repurchase? Some yes, some no. Think Pink is a no.

Have a beautiful day!
