Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color is a hybrid formula that goes on with the ease of a gloss and the more opaque color and coverage of a lipstick. The tube is oval in shape with a doe foot applicator that is a bit stiffer that your typical doe foot, although not in an uncomfortable way. It does a great job of distributing the product on the lips. Both colors I have are slightly scented, but different from each other. Red Extreme has a buttery scent, very similar to NYX Soft Matte Lip cream. Fiery Coral has a very similar scent to the Too Faced Melted collection, although much less pronounced. The texture in these two colors vary also, but only just. They are both thin in consistency, moist, non-sticky, and fully opaque. They vary, however, in the actual texture of the cream. Now, I'm probably the only person in the world who even notices this or cares for that matter, but Fiery Coral has a textured feel to it where Red Extreme is just a cream. When I say "textured" I mean that I can feel the particles inside the cream, which I am sure is just the pigment. This feeling is neither bothersome of irritating, it is just there.

Is it just me, or does the name of this color confuse you? When I think about wearing a coral lip color, I think of a beautiful blend of orange and pink. This is not that. This color is bright pink. It is just slightly warmer toned than Kat Von D Backstage Bambi.

As you can see this color is intense. Full color in one swipe and even coverage.

Anyone can pull of a bright color like this. The key to wearing super bright colors is a matter of confidence. If you feel confident about what your wearing, you will totally rock it!

Red Extreme

Red Extreme is a warm mid-toned red. It doesn't lean so warm that it looks orange, but there are orange undertones to it. I am typically more drawn to blue-based reds, but I decided to pick this up because it is a great summer red. This wears well, and last quite a long time.

Even though this isn't my comfort red, I like it. Because of its warmer tones it is going to be lovely with those nude eye looks!

Even though I wear crazy blues and greens on my lips, the color that is most intimidating for me to wear, believe it or not, is red lipstick. I don't know why really. The only reason I can think of is because red really seems to feather on my lips. This does not, it stays in place. 

All in all, I think these are very pigmented and comfortable to wear. They retail for $6.49 for 0.20 fl oz. I do wish they would expand the color line, as there are currently only four shades available. Would I repurchase? Yes, if they created more varied colors.
