Zoya Nail Polish Haul

My Zoya Nail Polish Haul

I have a small Zoya haul to review. I chose these colors because I absolutely love blues, greens, and oranges. With Spring on the horizon and Summer to follow, these will add fun little pops of color. From left to right we have Alma, Tilda, Ling, Staasi, and Jesy. The finishes of Alma, Staasi, and Jesy are iridescent glitter jellies, while Tilda and Ling have a cream finish. While jelly polishes can be layered to give a fairly opaque finish, my personal preference for this type of finish is to apply two coats so that I have enough color to show off the polish while there is a bit of translucency still there. All three of these glitter jelly polishes are thin in texture and apply smoothly. The cream finishes are a little bit thicker in texture, but still easy to work with.

Zoya Alma 1 Coat

Alma is a light orange jelly polish with orange, violet, and green iridescent glitter and gold micro-glitter. With one coat, you get some nice sparkle with a sheer light orange color.

Zoya Alma 2 Coats

Here you can see that a second coat really brings the gold micro-glitter forward and adds more opacity. This polish applied quite smoothly, and dried fairly fast.

Zoya Tilda 1 Coat

Tilda is a fun creamy lime color. I achieved fully opaque coverage in two coats. I'm reminded of lime flavored Skittles with this. The first coat had visible brush strokes, but with a second coat they disappeared.

Zoya Tilda 2 Coats

Two coats gave Tilda an even and opaque finish. Such a bright burst of Spring green!

Zoya Ling 1 Coat

Ling would be great paired with OCC Liptar in Rx. It is just a tad lighter, but almost a perfect match for one of my favorite lip colors. Cue happy dance music. This is a bright mid-tone blue, with a cream finish.

Zoya Ling 2 Coats

One coat had decent opacity, but as with Tilda, two coats evened out any brush strokes that were visible.

Zoya Staasi 1 Coat

Staasi has a sparkly green apple colored jelly base with orange, violet, and green iridescent glitter, with gold micro-glitter. A single coat yielded a very sheer color. This would be great layered over Tilda.

Zoya Staasi 2 Coats

Two coats adds depth to this color. My camera can not capture the amount of sparkle that this polish throws off. It's such a shame too, as the glitter is amazing.

Zoya Jesy 1 Coat

Jesy has a coral jelly base with orange, violet, and green iridescent glitter, and gold micro-glitter. Compared to Alma, this definitely has a pink undertone to the orange base. While they might seem similar, this one is definitely coral.

Zoya Jesy 2 Coats

While adding a more opaque coverage, a second coat really does add so much more sparkle. These glittery colors are fun, and can be layered over cream finishes. They would also make great accent nail colors.

A Few Extras

On the left are my Alma and Tilda. On the right is my extra set for a giveaway. I will be doing a giveaway for these two bottles to celebrate my new blog! Details to come.

I love Zoya nail polish, and I love the fact that they have pretty good promotions every once in a while. They have seasonal collections, and create stunning finishes. They retail for $9 for 0.5 fl oz. Would I repurchase? Yes, and I am currently waiting on a parcel that I will be reviewing upon arrival.

I hope your days are bright and beautiful!
