Stila's Version of liquid lipstick is a bit different from the others I've reviewed as it dries down completely and is transfer resistant. This has a much thicker consistency than any other liquid lipstick I own, and is much more of a cream texture. It is completely matte in finish.

Beso is a blue-based red, very much a pin-up red. It is thick, so I wouldn't recommend putting two coats on. I made this mistake once, never again. It is fully opaque. The feel of this product is a bit dry on the lips, I have to use a balm underneath this for comfort. The draw back to this lip color is that it can peel in certain areas after a while. To combat this problem, I apply a layer of balm on top when I notice visible wear. The balm will emulsify into the lip color making it look fresh, however it will no longer be transfer proof.

The color is undeniable. I love this color and it truly is a power red. 

For an event where you really need your lipstick to be budge-proof, this will be a good choice for you if you can get used to the feel. This retails for $22 for 0.1 oz. Mine is a mini from a holiday set, the full size is much bigger. Would I repurchase? I'm on the fence about that. I love the color, but the ultra thick texture and the peeling from wear make it hard to answer. I'm inclined to say no, as there are much more comfortable long-lasting lip colors on the market.
